brakes

Hi, I have a 2018 x6m. My lease is up in November and I def want to get a new one (hopefully 2021, Urban Green). My question is do the brakes still make a horrible noise or did they fix? Either way will still get but just wondering.

I do 3 year leases, started with x6m, then m6 gc and currently x6m. I am in love with the new x6m comp urban green!!!

Good question...can anyone with a F95 or F96 chime in regarding the brake squeal?

I've put 1,300 miles on my F95 and haven't heard any brake squeal.

I used to have the occasional brake squeal on my F86 but I barely hear it anymore. I hope it's fixed on the newer models

So far no noise but my my last x5m didnt either but the x6m did. They ended up changing the rotors and pads. It all depends on how you drive it. I know they changed the hub center design. My M8 has the ceramics and honestly they are so much better. They are not noisy and zero dust plus a nice progressive feel with the braking by wire system.

Thanks for feedback. ALL my previous M's (x6m, M6gc, current X6m) the breaks make a horrible noise. It's pretty common with all M's. So hopefully they figured it out!

Saw your signature. You have a x3m? And x6m? Question, is there that much of a drop off between the two? So I have a 2018 x6m now, my intention is to get a 2021 x6m when my lease is up in November. However, you never know with the economy now. I'm lucky and can afford to stick with the x6m, but I am considering maybe getting a 2021 x4m. Would love your feedback. Thanks!
