Question about Loaner Discount

My GF is planning on getting a new vehicle this month, and maybe take advantage of some good deals. We've settled on leasing, and I think a loaner vehicle might be a really great opportunity to save some money.

I've seen some dealers here in the Atlanta area post their loaner/demo vehicles on their website, and they already have 20% discounts posted. I'm unfamiliar with loaner vehicles and discounting so my question is this: is it reasonable to ask for a larger discount?

If it's already posted on their website at 20% off, that's literally the bare minimum you should get. I would not be shy about asking for more off and see what counter offer they come back with. Be sure to try multiple dealers to see the best you can get. What do you have to lose?

Iím also looking at an X5 courtesy vehicle, with 4800 miles. Itís a CPO.

Currently in negotiations and Iím at nearly 18% off MSRP. Trying to get to 20%, however.

Iíll update on Monday when Iíve heard back after my latest offering to them.

Any update? I am considering a similar situation. Listed at 11% off MSRP. What is a reasonable expectation for a great deal? Another 10%?

Agent007, the vehicle ended up selling before I could get there in person. Now looking at one where Iím at like 18.3% off MSRP. AND itís Certified; bc itís got 5,100 miles.

Iím serious about heading that way this weekend. Itís a three-hour drive, but the savings vs buying local are significant.

Which way is that?

Just had another loaner offered at 10% firm. At that price I might as well buy new.
