I have managed that in the IDrive menu the daytime running light for the taillights is displayed but unfortunately I can not activate it, is there still a control unit which must be coded?

Yes, it should actually be 3F. I will update the post. Thanks.

Can you share photo of IDrive menu?

When you cannot select the checkbox, you are missing a setting in another module. I think of HU_MGU as holding the toggle for a setting that is usually enabled in other modules. If the other module has it disabled, you get a non-functional checkbox.

My guess is it is in AAG.

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, there is probably no AAG controller in the G20 but I have found the 3 latter points in the BDC and coded unfortunately without success. The point with the TFL Active is unfortunately missing entirely

AAG is trailer hitch module.

May want to search tagfahrlicht as well.

Changing the sound tone to rolls_royce does not seem to work. Maybe it needs to be enabled in conjunction with something else?

I am still working on them and will have some updates soon. Cheers!

I must be missing something obvious - how do I download the xml file? Do you have to have a GitHub account?

No account needed unless you want to contribute.

There are multiple ways. Here are two:

1. Download zip. https://github.com/packetpilot/bmw-f
a. Extract bmw-f-master.zip
d. Grab xml from cheats folder

2. Go to cheat page: https://github.com/packetpilot/bmw-f...s/jokinawa.xml
a. Copy lines 1 through end
b. If already have xml and updating, replace text and save
c. If starting new, open text document --> paste --> save as xml.

This is helpful ...

My G05 i-step will be updated next week, after which I plan to try these codes and will be able to confirm which ones works

Do we have the cheat codes that enable closing the trunk from the key fob ?

I have one so you don't have to hold the button that works on my G07 and presumably the G05.

I will try to get this updated by Friday.

About cheat code of jokinawa.xml

Dear. jokinawa

Nice to meet you.
It is on G05 and is coding with reference to jokinawa.xml.

The following parameters cannot be set.

・ Change played sound signal set to Rolls Royce
BRAND >> rolls_royce
・ Change Startup Emblem to Alpina
STARTUP_EMBLEM >> alpina

“BRAND” did not change even when “01-09” was set.
“STARTUP_EMBLEM” has changed to “01: M”
“ALPINA” could not be found.
I tried to set "01-09" here, but there was no change.

The list to select for both is "UnKnown".

Please Tel me.

I have added a pull request to add that option among other things.

Yes, the BRAND does not currently work on my i-step of 2019/03.xx. I do not have a newer one to test right now.

I had STARTUP_EMBLEM work for Alpina once with the Alpina animation, but it only seems to do it at certain times.

I have added a pull request on the main repository to point out the BRAND issue.

With many thanks to jokinawa, eaglesrest, and everyone that came before them ... and being ultimately blessed by TokenMaster (until 2022) ... I am now in the E-Sys / LauncherPro coding club as well.

Coded my first function using E-Sys: default Sport Individual driving mode, using jokinawa's cheat code file from GitHub. Seems to work! Pretty sure that code (just one parameter) is a good "Hello World!" equivalent found in the software world :-).

The machine and software setup was a bit of a beast due mainly to LauncherPro uncertainty (the uncertainty wouldn't be a big issue for someone who has gone through the process before, but on a first pass, you don't know what is your fault and what isn't). And there is clearly lots and lots still to learn (coding using someone else's cheat code is junior coding competency level result).

Noting a few bugs that complicated things. Specifically, in E-Sys, many buttons and windows are cut off making it difficult to read their functions (e.g. "Code NCD" button on my setup says only "Code N..."). Also, TokenMaster's NCD CAFD Tool v0.5.2, would be useful for NCD file compares, has trouble reading some NCD files, such as the BODY3 ECU file used to code above default driving mode. But these are very 1st world problems :-).

Nice one.

Not in front of my PC but try right clicking Esys.exe and change compat option for high DPI.

Sounds like you have the high res issue.

Ncd tool is pretty much useless with later istep, except for fa stuff
