You need downpipes, my friend.
Although that makes things better, based on the videos of downpipes with 2nd cat delete it's no where close to an MPE
I've managed to get I my x5M the perfect amount of burbles.

Car had an akra installed and it's just perfect.

I'd say the factory exhaust is what's holding it back
How loud is the akra exhaust when the valves are closed? Do you tow with your x5? I wonder if it would drone or otherwise be annoying? I've got an akra on my 1M and love it, leaning towards it for the X5 as well..
No drone.

Not loud, I've got my exhaust button hooked up so I just switch it off when I want to drop the sound to similar to oem. Also got rid of the asd

I've heard a few people do it. My shop here has started to look but it's going to take a while.

There is a shop in NY that did it to a purple one and it sounds awesome
Do you know the name of the shop!?

Silly question, but does the dealer give you grief about the down pipes? I had the car recently in for a misfire (fouled spark plug) and they started asking me about my exhaust. I would have challenged them, but I told them I didn’t touch the down pipes and that seemed to put them at ease. BMW has been a bunch of hard asses about mods lately.

Can you please be more specific on the steps from start to finish one must do to get this done so we all know. This has been a mystery and some in the past have made claims it works but it has been proven time and time again to throw errors in the onboard infotainment. Please let us us know the specifics. Thanks.

Hello ,sorry my late reply. F95/X5M if manufacture year of car is between 2020-2020.07 (july) it will throw false code baterry warning .
all others are fine (F96 /X6M) even same car doesn t throw the error code .
I had a lot of questions: if it affects warranty ?
Answer is depends a lot on dealer , but doing it daily none of owners reported warranty issues
