Buy in X city and get delivery in Y
Hi everyone.
I wonder how feasible is to order a car in a city and take delivery in another city. Or maybe just negotiate a deal over the phone? Im moving but as you know it takes a few weeks to get the car. Thoughts? |

Yes, it happens all the time. It seems in most instances the dealer the vehicle was sold by ships it to the purchaser in another city. Another option that some dealers will do is Courtesy Delivery where the vehicle is shipped from the factory to the local dealer and they prepare it for delivery, sometimes for a small fee. Unfortunately many dealers will not do Courtesy Delivery but perhaps if you explain the situation they will.

Absolutely possible. You can do the entire deal remotely. One thing good that came out of COVID is dealers have embraced remote car purchases more.
As far as delivery, worst case scenario is you find a carrier to transport the car to you. And your local BMW genius can go over features with you and teach you about the car if needed.
