I don't really get why people compare different style body of vehicles that really doesn't make any sense to me.

It's so dumb how the X6 can move and drive the way it does for the type of vehicle it is...but that is why it puts a smile on your face every time you drive it.

Haters gonna hate but cars like this help keep bmw innovative on all fronts and indirectly help them make the cars you do like. If you don't like it, they don't care because lots do. If you don't like any bmws why are you on these forums, haha.
I haven't liked my fair share (GTs I thought were horrible but I know someone who bought one and he loved it). With a world this large there is a niche for anything and remember cars like this are huge profit makers for BMW. They would rather sell one X6 instead of two 1/2 series cars. Just like they would rather sell any M over the base, margins are higher on those (because they are lower volume). |

Commendable vehicle no doubt but to have the audacity to compare it to the (probably) last and greatest M car is nothing less than clickbait.

No need to eliminate it, just swap the badges. The 8-Series is literally just a 6-Series with a higher entry price.

The X5 is actually the most profitable car for BMW and I wouldn't call that low volume. An X5 doesn't cost a ton more to produce over a 3 series, but you can charge more especially for options. On any M series, carbon-ceramic brakes cost just about nothing in R&D and not much more in material but they can charge a ton for it. Volume is the other side of the equation, you better believe BMW wants to sell a ton of 1/2 series, while they make less profit on each one the higher volume over an X6 blows away the actual cash they bring in. Sure, in a perfect world, they could sell all X6Ms at the same volume of a 2 series but thats not reality. Anyway, I like the X6M I think it's a monster.

Forgive me for saying it... but between the Porsche in your avatar and that X6 I willpick the X6 anytime. Porsche is playing that tune for a hundred years now and literally that is not distinctive. Is overly consumed boring distinctive.
For me, X4 and X6 are muscular and beautiful. More beautiful than the X3 or X5. |

To fall so low as using click bait titles is saying long... Especially there isn't anything in the article to back this up... so pure 100% clickbait. What little credibility left i was giving them is gone ..

this is funny!
People need to let go of the axtek comments after all these years. While the body styling is very similar, it's obvious that BMW nailed the market with this design, which is why so many manufacturers are following suit. There is a heavy demand for the SUV coupe for those of us who appreciate the style. You don't have to like it, but we are far removed from the Axtek comparison 12 year later since the X6 releasing
