Scary, isn't it? Ideally, that will most likely be an inevitable aspect of good and evil, because the rationale of the masses will become a tangible component of justice, something which has never been a possibility.

You never know the reason behind why actions are taken. However, with appropriate neurological resources, "appropriate" determinations can be made. Makes a lie detector test look like it was developed from a soda can, or something.

My thing is this: how will the demographics morph over time regarding moral will and right and wrong? Because if you consider that being the future of our "psychological cloud" given the direction the youth are moving in these days, we may have to extract fragments of thought process from the more poignant thinkers of our time (such as yourself) to preserve.

Fortunately (heh) we will blow ourselves up/destroy the planet long before this would happen. If you read "the bell curve" it will depress you even more. Because the input to the "collective human will generator" will be of increasingly poor quality. But, this is all a mental exercise anyway. I don't think we'll get that far.

For the moment I have here a serious hail storm with thunder and lightning and floods of water ...good to have my ///M stored in my garage with the carbon roof .. ect..

This is the second week in a row that we are in the shit !
Luckely my house is on top of a hill..
Is this the 2016 Belgian summer ?

Actually I have enough of the shit..
Talking about shit ...The next picture dates from last week and the pic was in the Belgian newspapers as well , it happend about 6 miles from my house and think a toilet is normally reserved for shit , but in this case it was for hail !
Hail came out of the sewerage and jumped out of the toilet ..
I never saw something like this before ...No shit !

Humans have always been relatively fragile creatures relative to the rest of the animal kingdom, but our intelligence has allowed us to thrive. We're to a point where we can overcome almost any natural ailment and mental incapacity, and every time this happens you're effectively widening the variation in a tiny portion of the population.

I don't think this is unlike what will happen to the other facets of the human condition, whether it's social, moral, biological, etc. The more technology props us up, the less we have to rely on ourselves. The question is at what point do we begin to lose that permanently and is that inevitable?

But this is the interest thing. We have bypassed "natural" selection but we have moved on to a different type of selection. That is the very thing we are discussing. When the selected become the selectors as well, what does that mean for the species as a whole. Apart from allowing corruption, if we take the metaphor further, it does what most selection does - it amplifies the mutations. But which mutations would we collectively decide to amplify? Would it be a conscious decision, or one that just "happens". Who will decide, and how?
