USB Flashdrive shows files then not.

Have a really strange problem. I place a flashdrive loaded with music into the slot by the cupholders. Drive will index, see all music, play fine, see playlist etc. drive car, all fine. Turn off car, go back a day or so later, it sees flashdrive but no music. Nothing.

I can put the drive into 2 other cars and still works fine. I have tried 4 different drives, 3 different brands. Same results. genius at dealership has no idea.

Any brilliant ideas.

Thanks. Just tried it with 6 drives. Appears to have worked.

You bet! Heck of a way to do it, but maybe future software fix....

Well I spoke to soon. Got in the car this morning and usb drive shows “No Audio Files”. Pulled drive, put it computer, all fine.

I have no idea what is going on.

Would try another drive formatted in FAT32. If you already have, could be service visit...

Have tried doing the whole process, and then 3 brand new different brands of drives. Same outcome
