I think there a heap of people ready.

Heard today from the Aussie distributor of mss that it's a long way off

The exact reply was "it's not going to happen anytime soon"

Spoke to h&r and I'm exploring a set of custom coilovers. Doesn't look like there will be a kit from
Anyone this side of Christmas 2021.

Keep you posted

The M's don't have air suspension so it does not lower itself in sport or sport+.

I find it retarded that BMW still can't get the fender gap thing right when Mercedes/Audi/Porsche seems to have it dialed in with their cars.

Why no air suspension at this price point is ridiculous?? It’s a sports SUV and not a race car.

Because it's an M car? The cheaper X5 models get an air suspension, so it's not about price, and instead presumably BMW considers it inferior for an M car.

M shouldn't have any thing to do with as its only a option on the X5. Other higher end exotics like the Urus, Cayenne Turbo S, RR svr, Cullinan, Bentaga, etc..are using air suspension. In fact its hard to find a high end suv (performance or luxury) above $115k that doesn't use air suspension. My guess this would solve the multitude of harsh ride complaints in most reviews. The tire/wheel gap elimination is a by product.
The bright side without air suspension is the low tech solution of a spring swap kit to lower the tire gap.

What you have in mind? I'm not crazy far away, but my only concern is the 1200 mile service marker. I was hoping to pass that before doing much to it...

Trying G05 X5 50i H&R spring.

I know for sure that the rear will work.
Just need to confirm the front and amount of drop.

I'll let you know when I hit my first service change. If you still looking by then maybe I'll drive over have you do some other things as well.

Will do, I pick it back up today after the PPF and Tint is completed. So should get to 1200 in a few weeks.

Couple things I'm looking at getting done will be the reflectors to match the Toronto red, Potentially wheel spacers, piggy back tune. I do like the carbon paddles too but not sure because they look much larger.

If possible lower it obviously, downpipes and if there is a res delete that crap. lol

Downpipe, will need your car for a day or two. Need to make measurement.

I offered couple local guys, but none of them wants to jump in. :

I'll get the reflector ready since I do need some Toronto Red.

Been bugging the owner, seems like they are not prioritizing it.
I guess KW would be ready before they are.
Keep hassling them they might buckle

how about Manhart? they have been advertising an upgrade package for the F95 (MHX5 700) that includes 30 mm drop with lowering springs.

https://www.manhart-performance.de/e.../mhx5-700-f95/

I sent an email request but haven't heard anything. perhaps someone in the EU might have better luck by phone or if you're in their area, stop in and ask.
