Frozen look rules! Congrats. Gorgeous. Can't wait for my Alpine white to get stealth.

Stealth has the same 10-year warranty like Ultimate Plus. So any peeling I can take it to Xpel authorized detailer to fix.
10 years? Nice work! Ok then.

Nice to see a fellow Arkansan I'm in NWA area.

I rather have a paint job that let's me enjoy my car and not worry about it (we have enough worries with those shitty V8 that have a tendency to crud up, explose or expel more smoke than Chich & Chong on a bad trip...

Wraps are better, but they don't last that long unless you don't use the car
Hence the satin PPF. You get PPF for its strong protection and satin finish for the look.

Great decision going with this wrap. I never understood why more people don't just go with the Xpel Stealth wrap instead of buying a matte car. You get the look and you get to protect the paint.

I checked some photos of MBB M5 with Xpel Stealth and really liked the finish, plus it's still a smooth film so very easy to maintain (unlike matte/satin paint).

It took my detailer a little over a month to get it done completely. Besides Xpel, he also applied CQuartz Finest ceramic coating on the whole car and wheels. I got IND color-matched reflectors installed too. The gloss black trims are wrapped by regular Xpel Ultimate Plus, to provide a little contrast.

Reason for it taking so long is because:
1) the detailer is only a 2-man team, and for whatever reason people all decided to get PPF on their cars during COVID-19;
2) the X5M being brand new, Xpel didn't have the correct pattern in their system. My guy only got template for the front and had to hand wrap the entire back side.

The end result is amazing! It kept the "pop" in MBB color and added some depth with the satin finish and appears to be "bluer" in direct sunlight due to less reflection from the paint. I will let the pictures speak of themselves...
Is that NWA? Spent the last few years in Bentonville but just recently moved up to MN. Sweet ride. Enjoy!

Awetastic...I am in the Blue ///M car club too.

It would be nice if they offered this Marina Bay Blue color on the new X3M Comp. So much for naming ///M colors after famous race tracks around the world.

Using the XPEL Stealth Matte PPF is the best option vs getting a frozen paint job from the factory. Frozen paint is impossible to maintain, especially in northern states + Canada. After the first paint chip on your $5-10k frozen paint, you will want to kill yourself.

The new Porsche dealership in town here in LA is killing me. It is right across from the BMW and MB dealerships. Too much temptation.

BTW Someone left a stolen Porsche Panamera in your garage.

How nice would a Porsche Macan or Cayenne Turbo look in a similar matte paint job next to the MBB X5M Comp?

Cheers

This is all just plain inaccurate and wrong. Fake news

This truck looks unbelievable. Great choice on truck and color and mods.

That thing is so SICK!!! I am seriously thinking of doing the same thing to mine now that I saw this. How difficult is it to keep clean with the matte?

Hope you are not joining T from the W j/k. Had a friend just moved from MN to Bentonville because the winter in MN is too rough.
