Just received 07/2020.45 today....Will 4.25.12 psdzdata work?

So I just got back from the dealer and they updated me with 07/2020.45 (which I haven't seen mentioned anywhere yet).

Question: Can I still use 4.25.12 to VO/FDL code via eSysX? Or do I now need to wait for an update to the psdzdata?

psdzdata v4.25.12 supports ISTEP 20_07_545 on S18A which is 07/2020.45 that you got. You can check it yourself in the mainseries/S18A directory of psdzdata. So from that point of view it should work.

However, 07/2020 has introduced a lot of new stuff and there are reports of incomplete mappings in both ESysX and LP. At least ESysX is expected to update, who knows when LP will update if ever.

Got your PM, thanks for the info, it's a thin funnel. Can't respond by PM, you have PM reception disabled, but that's ok ;-).

I have the new esysx and all trimmed codes are now mapped.

The expert licence is excellent for those that discover and publish codes. It maps all boolean activation conditions for a cafd making the conditions easier to understand without constant cross-referencing.

There are still a number of codes that are active on MY21 but referenced as UNBELEGT. Not anything that esysx can do about with mappings, but interesting strategy by BMW.

On their website the change log is of 16/07/2020 and states partial support for 20/07 only. I have this update. Did you get a newer anyway? Mine's missing quite some mapping..

Unfortunately the 16/07 version had some issues with the mappings in my experience. There were more trimmed 07/2020 codes than in the previous June verson.

Fortunately the latest version seems to have all of 07/2020.548 mapped.
