Phrases we use..

Merely an observation, but since becoming more active on these boards, it frequently occurs to me that some of the terms we frequently use and think nothing of may be quite confusing/amusing to outsiders.

For example, "Bringing guests to ED" immediately made me wonder why this guy would want to share his erectile dysfunction with "guests".

"Spirited driving".. surely we all mean "driving in a manner inconsistent with the law"?
