That’s interesting did you look again? FYI I saw it update at least twice today. Morning then around 13:30 central time then again this evening.

You should get the VIN two weeks before assembly, Sunday or Monday!

Got moved up again now to 8/31! I might be the only person wishing for a delay instead. Has anyone had experience with the dealer holding the car? Have to make an urgent trip out of the country and won't be around to pick it up assuming it doesn't take long to be delivered to NY.

I have to believe that the dealer will hold the car until your return unless it’s months.

Wonder what "at the port" means for me, pretty sure SC to NY is done by truck, not train, right?

Yours will go by truck, only West Coast deliveries are by train. "At the Port" can mean various things in your situation including waiting at the factory for a truck, getting accessories installed or waiting at a truck terminal for another truck.

That would be why your vehicle is at the port. The others we have seen stayed there for a couple of days and then were in transit without the car eye being installed, maybe they got some in recently so you will get yours.

South Carolina also has an “inland port” that is right outside of the Spartanburg,SC BMW factory, it’s basically a direct rail line to the coast and to other various rail networks. Maybe it’s that?

Mine's still in Quality Check... my mind is going back to other posts whose builds were in QC detention for nearly a month, but still I'm trying to stay positive!
