In HYBRID driving mode, the vehicle is driven in hybrid mode based on various driving situations, i.e., the drive combines the combustion engine and electric motor. The respectively most effective drive type is preferred.

HYBRID ECO PRO
In HYBRID ECO PRO, the vehicle is driven in hybrid mode based on the various driving situations. HYBRID ECO PRO supports a fuel-efficient driving style by adapting the engine control and comfort functions, such as climate control output.

Likewise, I haven't seen the ICE kicking in the Hyrbrid/Eco mode in the slow traffic.

I opened my door tonight and the LED strip in the door stayed blue. In my 45e the LED strip in the door turned red when the door was open if I’m not mistaken.
Is this feature gone with the LCI?

It means you join many others in having to have it replaced. Unfortunately the new valves also seem to be having the issue.

Hi all,
Just coming back for a brief post after 5 months with my 2024 LCI (Sapphire Black + both MSport packages):
- Still getting used to looking at the front of the car at times, but net-net the car looks great and "different" than other Xs clearly. The sleeker headlights look very good (and also the actual lights looking different/nicer).
-Larger screen with all controls there: I have quickly adapted to that. The climate controls are easy to get to. Audio options can become tricky if you fidget too much.
-Drive: a complete beauty. And on Sports+ there is plenty of punch to leave others behind (done it quite a few times).
I suppose I am a bit biased but I haven't found any major (or even not so major) issues that make me doubt this was a great purchase, up to now.
So if you are on the fence, go for it! :-)

I think it will if you have a destination in the car's Nav. It actually seems quite clever in selecting when to use battery vs motor if the car knows where you are going.

I've also noticed that when the battery is empty it actually charges the battery during light-load times where the engine is running rather efficient to then go pure-EV in slower areas. Interesting to watch when you turn on the consumption dials what the car is doing, when it is charging and when not. From what I've noticed so far usually the electric motor supports or completely takes over in areas where the ICE is inefficient (high loads and/or low speeds) and charges the battery when the ICE is in efficient territory.

Gents, I concur with the review/posting (have my 2024 for exactly 6 months now, love it through and through, but yes there are some "imperfections" ;-) ).
Question for the group: in my prior X5, I was comfortable with eventually swapping out the stock tires when they ran out of tread for all-seasons, noting I had the 20-inch staggered set-up. In my 2024, I have the staggered 21s and would like to do the same. I searched plenty and could not find such options until today I finally ran into tires by Arroyo and Accelera. Has anyone ever used these brands? (I never even heard of them)

Welcome to the forum. They are currently not available on the 40i in the US due to supply issues.
