Powder coating 740Ms

When I built my G05 in March, I originally decided against the extended shadowline, thinking I preferred the chrome grille against the phytonic blue. Like many, I eventually changed my mind and did the grille swap, followed by powder coating the wheels this week. As soon as I swap the badges and exhaust tips l'll be done.

Just wanted to share the photos for those who may be considering the powder coating route on the 740Ms. I know several others have posted photos after doing the same thing but I don't recall seeing any with phytonic blue.

I think it looks great! How much was it to powder coat the wheels? I'm thinking of doing the same thing.

I paid $750 at a shop here in the Northern VA area. I think I recall reading that $600-800 was considered normal by others. I left it for 48 hours for the whole process to include remounting and balancing....conveniently they had space during the holidays when I could live without the car.

Looks great! I did the same on mine. Have you considered deleting the side reflectors? IMO, that would really finish off the look nicely.

I hadn't given it a lot of thought. Agree that some variant of delete/tint/paint would make it look better. And of course now that's what I'll be focused on lol!
