That's not as bad as it could have been. No need for a dealer for these repairs.
Ugh the problem is I have a loaner now and I would have to return it. But I guess I have to. Sigh.

How long would it take to get an alternator? Even if you rented a car for a couple days, you'd be saving a bunch over the dealer premium.

Agreed with the guys above , but don't forget that your car is not driving anymore and so you need to tow it to another place which means even more troubles and extra money .
So personal I would choose for your BMW/Dealer .

...Like others have said - BMW thinks their battery's are made from GOLD...you can buy a Interstate brand battery and take it to them - then let the dealer program it...

I was just relaxing and watching some old F1 onboard camera video on YouTube.

Schumacher on MB-AMG Petronas turning 5g at end of the spoon curve (Suzuka Circuit).

EDIT: Some don't have clue what 5g is, so here is what I will demonstrate:

Let's assume lifting your arm and steering preciously takes about 5lbs of force. Now you are looking at 25lbs to turn the steering wheel.
Your head weights 20lbs+3lbs for helmet total of 23lbs. Your head will feel ~100lbs force.
If you cannot solve calculus problem while riding on a fast roller coaster, you do not have a concentration factor to drive these.

Don't get dumped: dating money mistakes to avoid

Don't get dumped: dating money mistakes to avoid

Yahoo Finance asked a handful of women in their 20s and 30s to tell us their biggest financial deal breakers — the money habits that can make or break a potential relationship. Of course, this is far from a scientific study and these answers are based on the specific personal preferences of the women we spoke to.

Check out their answers in the video above and join us this Thursday at 1 p.m. ET on Facebook to chat live: facebook.com/yahoofinance.
Not paying on a first date

The rule-of-thumb is simple: whoever is the one asking the other person out has to pay for the first date. All but one of the women we spoke with agreed on this point. In a recent study by Nerdwallet, more than three-quarters of women agreed that men should pay on a first date.

Too much debt

Bad spending habits and excessive debt were two of the most common complaints we heard, which isn't surprising consider that nearly one-quarter of American couples who said they argue about money said in a survey that fights typically revolved around spending habits.

Our interviewees did cut smart borrowers some slack It’s hard to expect a college graduate not to carry a sizable student loan balance, after all. Most of the women agreed credit card debt was a major turn-off.

A low credit score

It’s hard to blame anyone — man or woman — for sizing up a potential mate based on his or her credit score. Once you take the leap and get married, your spouse’s credit score can greatly impact your chances of qualifying for a mortgage or even a car loan. Nearly half of Americans said bad credit is a red flag, Country Financial found. What the ladies we interviewed couldn’t agree on was when to ask about a potential mate’s credit score. It’s not exactly first date material but you should find out at some point, right? Each couple is different, but a good rule of thumb is to find out exactly where your partner stands financially at least before you take a big step like moving in together or getting engaged.

When he's not OK with a woman who earns more

Men earn more on average than women, a trend that has persisted for decades despite women’s growing presence in the workforce. Unfortunately, this can make it difficult for women who defy this stereotype and earn more than their partner. If a man feels threatened by the fact that a woman earns more, it could be a huge turnoff.

For more financial deal breakers, check out our video above. And stay tuned — we will be posting another video with insights from men on their financial deal breakers soon!
