First road trip real mpg
After 2 months of owning the 45e I need to make an essential customer visit, downside is it's 450 miles away
The Uk government lets my employer pay 18p per mile, the last fill up was £5.50 per gallon (hate the taxes love the NHS) I make it that means I need 30.7mpg to break even, full battery , here we go |

That seems good, So adjusted MPG minus the full charge at home and the charge point ?
£5.50 (if thats enough charge to do 30 ish electric miles is that not the same cost as petrol?) i suppose its the BIK tax were you actually win over a diesel/petrol im guessing but they would probably do low 40's on a similar run & 35 mpg ish respectivly. i cant work out what the benefit actually is. so i suppose fuel/energy cost per mile is the only measure not MPG |

I managed 51 miles out of a fully charged battery so plugging in is marginally better financially and depending on the source of the electric , better environmentally |

Pretty good taking into account most was on a petrol alone, my 40i would max 30 mpg
