Sun visor latch broken

Sorry I can't show a photo. My X5 is at the dealer right now.

One of the things they are fixing is the passenger seat sun visor. The latch broke off. I could put it back in to hold it in place, but each time I pulled the sun visor out the piece would fall off again.

Has anybody else had this issue?

I have this same issue on both visors. it seems the wife slams them back into their latch and there is a little plastic "barbell" that wedges into the actual visor material to hold it in the latch. seems really cheaply made. Any advice? or just bring it to the dealer and hope for a replacement while under warranty.
