You can tape around the perimeter of the whole sunroof, preventing any water from going into the sunroof gutter, so no water to drain.

I had a leak coming from the microphone when it was really pouring hard, but when it was light rain, water would come down the passenger side A pillar. The leak looks like it may be caused by a similar issue to what I've experienced.

Must be. The sun roof is clear. Not a spot. Must be clogged at the bottom.

Was this issue resolved? I am dealing with the same with my m340i. Dealer said that it's not covered under warranty
