This opens up many more tire options.
The difference in diameter front to rear is too large for comfort. Not looking to pay for a new transfer case.

275/40/21 all around is said to be fine, same height.

Absolutely. The car doesn’t know the width of the tire if physically fitment is ok. As long as outer diameter match, it is transparent to the car.

Sounds good, the only concern is the weight rating 107 verses 111, but I’m told 107 should still suffice.

107 is 2149lb. 111 is 2403lb. 154lb difference per tire. So total id 308lb different. But think about it, 2149 x4 = 8596lb. It is far higher than gross weight of x5.

Also if you look up 22” tire setup, their load indexies are 104 front, 107 rear. I don’t see any concern of having 107 all around. This is at least my reasoning. But of course there are people who strictly follow manual

I am honestly too lazy and don't give a shit about maximizing performance; nor do I want to dish out 3-4k on a new set of wheels/tires. It's a fucking SUV, not a M sedan on a track. All seasons are more than enough as long as you aren't an idiot on the road and respect the vehicle and throttle.
One problem I find with All seasons for wheels 21” or larger, is that almost nothing available as far as AS tires, and what’s available are very noisy and it’s annoying to have them on tbh

Michelin Crossclimate 2

Anyone tried Crossclimate 2 (275/40R21)?. Available at Costco, thinking of getting those instead.

I wonder if they is for the rear size only. 275/40R21 all season seems to me ok to me. Many cars used this size. Random walking around and see this MDX In neighborhood. I am planning to buy four 275/40R21 square setup 21” myself. 741 really is looking good
