By now we know that the 2022 X5 doesn't come with the spare tire set as they are equipped with the "run flat tires". But just to play it safe, can you give recommendations where i can find a set?

Looks like "Modern Spare" or BMW OEM are the two options.

ordering your vehicle with RFT doesn't prevent from optioning the space saver spare.

i was able to configure 20/21/22" wheels on a 40i in both xLine and M Sport, and the space saver spare was shown in the Options tab. 20/21" were RFTs while the 22" were non RFT. the difference is that the space saver cost $150 if ordering 20/21" wheels but included at no add'l cost when ordering 22" wheels.

what variant are you trying to order? if the 45e, there's no room in the cargo bay, so the space saver spare isn't listed as an option.

are you trying to to order 3rd row seating? if so, there's no room as well, so the space saver spare isn't listed as an option.

It's really a shame sales people don't do a better job making sure people know about the $150 spare option.
