21 Inch Winter Wheel Setup

Hi everyone ..new to the forums and very nice to be here. I just had my winter wheels and tires put on this morning, so thought I'd share. Got the BMW 21" replica wheels (that even came with the BMW center caps) and in all honesty, I think I like these more than my 22" stock wheels. I went with a 21x10.5, 40mm offset and 295/35 square setup. Fits like a glove. I'm very pleased with how this came out although I do wish the rear wheels stuck out just a bit further. Even so, not bad for a winter setup. Now just looking forward to my black grill and tail pipes which should arrive next month to complete the new look.

This looks really good! Did you explore different square set up choices? 275/40/21 for example? I might want to do something like this as a summer set up…
And, is your lowered via air suspension in these pics or normal set up?
Well done!

Hey sorry for the late response. I did look at other square set ups, but didn't want to sacrifice the more beefy athletic look. I personally don't care for the thinner tires on the X5. Having driven these in some seriously bad winter weather now, I can attest that this is a very viable set up for snow. etc. No issues driving through 10 inches of fresh snow in near white out conditions.

It's just sitting in sport mode in these photos.
