This has been discussed in another thread. While it works, it *may* prevent the display of recommended tire pressure in both iDrive and the MyBMW app as well as the modification of the HUD menu in iDrive. Your mileage may vary.

After coding this my recommended tire pressure on the idrive system did disappear.

Is there any way to keep the recommended pressure and the instrument cluster display?

Seems not. On some cars, it disappears and the only fix is to undo the coding.

If you have the MyBMW app, the recommended pressure is still shown on the app

Where do I find the tire pressure in the My BMW app?
Are you saying if coded the tire pressure will then show up in the app??

it's on the app. no coding required (he was just saying that if after you code the BC TPMS widget and no longer have recommended tire pressures on iDrive TPMS, one can refer to the app for those values). tap on vehicle or "check status" > check control messages

I don't have it. Must not be available in Canada. In fact I don't think the values are in the drive either, only color and description (low, high etc). I might look into coding the idrive values.

ah. some app features aren't available in certain markets, so that might be one of them. can send feedback to request features. i did that to get 45e Charging History on the U.S. app version (EU market had it first)

you don't have TPMS on iDrive?

Yes, I still have the recommended pressure showing in the MyBMW app on my US market X5 after removing this coding

Yap, no recommended pressure in the app for Canadian market G05 — I am the same. But I wonder now if it takes a Canadian G05 to not lose the in-car recommended pressure display with this coding?

What a bunch of ludicrous function-market permutations BMW weaves. Seriously, WTF? Their product managers and engineers have nothing better to do?

One wrinkle I found is that the recommended pressures don't display if the tires selected in iDrive are "other"

I still have recommended PSI in IDrive (no app or CD here at all)

I believe it only shows recommended tire pressure if the current tire pressure is below. Currently, my app doesn’t show recommendations, but my tire pressure is shown as 36,37 (F) 41,42.1 (R). US Market.

There may be some thresholds for when the recommendations appear???

Mine shows recommendations at all times - above/below/on target (UK car)

We often see inconsistent implementation between cars/region/SW version. Makes it difficult to really work out the root cause of why one car behaves one way, and a different car behaves another way.

Mine is same as mobilejo except it's a U.S. model. Always shows the recommended pressure.

Interesting. Is this Android?
I don't have this on iOS 15. Am I looking in the wrong spot?

It is on iOS 15. No clue why yours not showing it. Do you have proper tires setting on the iDrive? TPMS working? By the way, I am still on iSTEP July 2020. Never received an OTA update (except map updates).
