H&R Lowering Springs

Has anyone installed the H&R lowering springs on their M50i? What do you think think of them?

They're on infinite back order. You wont find a set to install. There is a set of used MSS in the classified if you're interested.

Keep me posted...especially on the ride quality. I can't get a good read if they are close to stock, harder, softer - or more floaty.

Also - what wheel size are you? I have the 21's...

thx!

If you retained the same overall diameter of the wheel/tire combo then there wouldn't be an issue. Also depending on application there is a maximum of an inch drop which is rather conservative. I am on MSS and have one reduction in the rear and inch+quarter in the front. Ideal reduction where fashion and function meet before effecting either.

Hi - your setup and heights are what I will do if I go with the MSS.

Since moving to Seattle - I cannot find an independent BMW shop here to do work. Its the only thing stopping me from buying them right now. lol

I miss Ben so much!!!

The right dealership will do it but finding a competent Tech that can wrench at the dealership will be a tall order.

According to r33_RGSport , from this thread https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...9&postcount=16 they will go low, but the ride is stiffer.
