Fog Light Access?

Wondering if anyone has experience with accessing the fog lights on the G05 series X5s? Can the fog light be accessed from the outside? Taking delivery of my 2022 X5 45e in a few weeks and want to add factory fog lights since BMW deleted them post 2021. Like the look with fog lights aesthetically. SA suggested I do not hook them up due to warranty concerns on an electric vehicle.?

Thanks in advance!

I did end up installing fog lights I ordered from OEM seller. They can be installed by removing the front tires and respective wheel wells. Right fog went in relatively easy, however left side is really tight. No wiring harness was available for fog light connection that I could see. Will just be an aesthetic install until I find a kit for the harness and switch.

Other than the fog lights and 6 bolts to hold them in place, were there any other parts needed for the installation?

Any chance you still have the part numbers?

You should be able to find the parts in bimmercat or similar. BMW offers replacement "repair" wiring harnesses for much of the vehicle depending on factory options. Also check out this thread. https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1852810

At this point, I'd be all about installing the fog lights even if they aren't functional. Looks a lot better than what's there now.
