X5 Data connection

Can a 2022 X5 45e connect to a hotspot provided by your iPhone when it is in your car or your home WiFi when it is in your garage?

My current 2021 Volvo XC40 can connect to either if needed.

No, BMW uses its own onboard cellular radio for communication.
