Hello Forum, long shot here but wanted to see if anyone can help me find a x5 m50. Options preference below.

Must have: M sport, glass controls, laser headlights, carbon black or metallic black.

Nice to have: exec package, upgraded wheels, coffee interior, luxury seating package, certified.


Mileage: 30k or less.

Budget: 70k or less

Location is PA but willing to travel up to 500mi one way for the perfect car.

Good luck with that. I saw my dealer had one with 28K and they wanted $78K. Unheard of cause of this stupid market.

I got all the features you want but I won't sell cause nothing will help me replace it. 😩😩

Yea I hear you! I found one that was in the 72k range, was about to place a deposit to go pick up when a sales guys send me a pic of the car that someone damaged it that day.

I’m sure 70K will cover the lease buyout but yea the prices currently are outrageous.

Dealer offered me $72K for mine recently and wanted me to order new one but it won't have all the options I have now due to shortages

That’s crazy, at this point it’s almost better to just order new. 2022 decently optioned is about 90k before taxes. If dealer is asking 80k for a 3 year old car, that’s ridiculous.

These prices are pushing in a brand new inventory. Like the car but cannot stand white. Has to be black or dark. If I’m paying this much, I would rather just build at the point.

A lease would be more than finance at this point. No one right now will give up their lease cause dealers are offering a lot more than what it is worth. I would up your budget to 80K, to be honest. I am so lucky I got mine before this crazy spike. I paid only 65K with 36K miles and CPO till 2024 on a $98K build.

I am kicking myself for not pulling a trigger on a nice build x5 that was priced around 67k on a 95k build last year. Was also CPO and had all the options and colors I wanted. Right now similar build is about 78k CPO. If I up my budget to 80k, why not just buy a brand new for 90k built the way I wanted at this point. The price difference at that point is not that much.

I know I am looking for a needle in a haystack. I did find a few on a west coast, the price is good. Options are there. Only issue is it’s too far for me. I will have to buy unseen and have it delivered but worried about not honest dealers.

2019 is not an M50i, this is just a 50i with M sport package. M50i is 2020 MY SAV.

Good luck, but you'll be hard pressed to find a CPO M50i for under 70k, period. Used car market is crazy right now. Unless you have business benefits leasing is a poor financial choice and even worse in this market. Don't limit yourself by geography; if you find what you like don't be afraid to ship your car

Gorgeous car! I think I may have found my unicorn. Going to see it this weekend. It’s also under 68k so I’m fitting into my budget.

But also curious, how firm are you on price?

Should be just the badges right? This can be remedied

Prices are starting to come down I am seeing. Seeming a good bit starting to get under 70k

Haha...we don't need no stinkin' badges.
Actually quite an appreciable difference between the 2 cars in favor of the M50i; 523hp vs. 456hp, 553 torque vs. 479 torque.

Wait, I thought the engine and HP were identical. Didn’t realize the power is different. That just a ecu programming difference? Engines are identical, right?
