X6M looks better than the X5M. That Kidney grill is just Hideous on the X5M

Too cute IMO. The outgoing X5 has a bigger mouth, more angry looking headlights, and a nicer side profile with the single body crease giving it a raked look.

These front ends look too much like the X3/4 M cars. I think a lot of that has to do with the X7, and BMW wants that to be the top design.

So it has the identical engine to the M5, but weighs 1,000 + pounds more???

Why not just stick with the all-wheel-drive M5?

It does look great though...

Is it just me or does the M5 and X5M/X6M seem underpowered now that the M 50i versions have 523hp and the SAME torque?

I mean even the X3M comp has only 97 less HP (16%) than the X5M and weighs 800 lbs less.

BMW really needs to get these to around 650hp now and 600 torque to give people a reason to spend an extra $20K on them.

I'm sure the hp/torque numbers are understated and they are more around 700hp.

Same in here. The kidney grill looks much better on the X6M.

Also the rear looks better. The X5M resembles the Mercedes tail lights and does not look better anyway.

Interior is beautiful though.

To be honest, I was expecting a bigger difference comparing to M50i models.
They seem very close. 70HP more, 160lbs. more, same ground clearance, also Adaptive M suspension Professional with Active Roll Stabilization.

Plus even visually, not much of a difference.

Now I like M50i even more than before
I was thinking the same thing! I've got an M50i on order and feel no regrets. That and the fact that I'm already at the TOP of my budget LOL

How anyone would pick an THIS X5M over an M5 is beyond me.

Those black seats with beige inserts.

At this price point, I would absolutely choose the M5 over either of these.

But that Manhattan Green... Damn, that looks good to me.
