That's pretty much right. But on the other hand the F15 interior looks much better and far more modern than the current Benz GLE interior (a car which some users here mentioned as the better competitor), which looks almost like a car from the 90s.

I agree. the F series cars sucked when viewed from a bmw historical perspective.

Yeah. wish they designed inside LED also in the L shape (straight or inverted either way). Too much Benz or Grand Cherokee look right now.

Much better i.e more BMW-like tail light design. Hope they look more like this than the Japanese box look.

can't disagree its a jap rear... but it does still look good i think.

if the renders are correct for the G20 3 series, the tails look straight off of an RC350.

Yeah, yet grilles are moving together. Which is fine. The cojoont headlights was a dumb design idea. It looks awful on new 5 and 7 and the 3 even. I dunno, may be idea was ok but execution cerainly weak. Reminds me of this facelifting mercedes did in 2014 where all square headlights “melted” and it looked bizzare. A botched facelift.

If that article is accurate about the 100 km (62 miles), then I will be sold on waiting for the new G05 hybrid vs getting a 530e. Even with real world range being lower, it would more than cover my daily commute, which the 530e would require charging on both ends, and still wouldn't cover the whole thing. Good find!

I hope this render is not close to being accurate. looks too much like an Acura RDX from some angles. I'll hang on to my e70 if that's the case.

Really like the new design language. There are always a couple elements that could be different. Over all looks awesome. Can't wait for the official reveal..

Wonder why this isn’t getting the M50i moniker? Just xDrive50i. Seems to deviate from every other recent model.

Info from the new models thread

Both G05 X5 and G07 X7 xDrive50i will replace their launch version of N63 (456hp) with the same new 530hp engine and become X5/X7 M50i. Here's finally your explanation why they were sticking with "xDrive50i": "M50i" was reserved for the more powerful engine

When is this transition from xDrive50i to M50i going to happen? Anyone know?
