1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais S in 1994....ugh...I was young, the used car dealer knew that I didnt know crap about buying cars....so I financed (at 18% apr...i didnt know any better...) and drove it around for 3 months until the alternator died, then the fuel pump, then the tensioner pulley, and then the muffler rusted out...engine was sideways so getting to anything under the hood was a pain....god i hated that car and should have bought a honda...LOL

My first car is also the biggest POS I've ever owned. 1990 Lincoln Towncar with a 5.0 liter. It weighed 5600+lbs and drove like it weighed 8000lbs. One headlight only wanted to work at half power, fuel pump died 3 times, radiator failed, then I got into a minor car accident that was not my fault so I had panels and half working headlight replaced(still didnt work right). The panels were never painted so I had a gold and white tank. Car started overheating again so I junked it for $56. What a friggin huge pile oh poo with wheels.
Got me around for a couple years and it had one of the biggest back seats ever! |

197? Dodge Colt
except it was a dull violet and only two of the wheels matched each other. i had to park it on an incline every day because there was about a 89% chance that it wouldn't start, so i had to start it by letting it roll and pop the clutch.... but i loved it! |

1998 Dodge Neon back in 2001-2002. I was 18 at the time and I wanted to drive that POS off a cliff with me in it. I was so embarassed to drive it. Damn parents.

I inherited an 04' Subaru Outback. The thing can't get out of it's own way, must be the most gutless, uninspiring thing to ever receive 4 wheels. Freeway driving is a frightening, defensive adventure.:eyebulge:If it wasn't the best vehicle on Earth for Oregon winters the thing would be someone else's gutless-wonder. Perhaps it does have that one redeeming quality.

Biggest P.O.S I owned was a 1994 Ford Ranger single cab. Transmission went out 2 times, fuel pump broke, 2 flats in 1 day. This was back in 05 mind you. The V6 had tons of power (I wasn't used to power yet). But, it was cool being able to do donuts in the school parking lot.

Here's a list of some of the worst cars ever (as compiled by CarTalk). Be sure you read the listener nomination stories -- some of them are insane.

How about a 1980 Chevy Monza? Ours was dark blue and the biggest piece of crud ever made. It was slow, it was heavy, it was sad attempt at a small car. Went through like 4 starters in 2 years. I never went back to an American make again.

I know I'm gonna catch some heat for saying this. WORST car I have ever owned is My 2006 E60 M5. 3 trans out, 3 DSCs out, clutch out, and countless other issues. All with less than 17k miles.

1976 Plymouth Valiant...No air, vinyl seats, vinyl roof, no power brakes, no power steering, no power nothing, AM radio, and lotsa RUST! However it could hold a keg in the trunk and the front seat was a bench seat.
