Mine has also moved to 9630 today ... can't believe how excited I am after such a long wait. Fingers crossed the rear seats are OK.

Worth giving the dealer some hassle if you have been waiting a while! They can ask BMW logistics to pull it forward or go collect themselves. Mine came from Coopers and Inchape have their own logistics team who collected to save a few days.

I checked before 10:02 and it was recorded as in port already - maybe another boat a day earlier?

Definitely worth giving dealer some grief and asking if Inchape logistics team can collect it!! They need to get a release number from BMW which is only available after the vehicle has been checked over in Southampton. It will then go to 9635 UK &E storage until it is collected then jumps to 9800 once it is on Inchape transporter. If the dealer puts in some effort and makes a couple of calls he will know how quickly he can get it, either by BMW or their own transporters. Funnily enough it is amazing what can be achieved when it suits them to get a vehicle into their month end numbers!

Mine was Cooper Teesside, only place that would give me a decent discount out of the few I tried around the country

Not sure, think it was 17/18 April.

It's not moved from 9630 in a few days. Still stuck at 9630 Port.

Anyone had any movement?

One update - I have a registration number assigned

Insurance company quoting same money for G05 as my current F15 so happy with that

That's good news on the insurance, I had to pay another £65 +£15 admin charge for mine, which I didn't think was too bad given the car in double the value of the F15. Annual rate is now £531, hopefully I'll get that down again at renewal time with the aid of comparison websites and haggling.

Actually had an email from my dealer tonight. I now have my registration number and car should be here by the weekend if all goes well. If not it should be Tuesday at the latest.

Not sure what my insurance will be like yet. I had my 40d stolen last August so they are bound to put the premium up

Blimey that is a long time from 9650! I would give them some earache about the wait and lack of proactive work by dealer....They could have collected it from Southampton using their own transporters etc. if they think you are going to only give them 3 out of 5 on the bmw survey they will soon jump. Salesman looses his commission if they don't get a 4 or 5 out of 5.

I got them to throw in a full tank of fuel and GardX protection but without any GardX guarantee.
