Mine is scheduled for week 31 but still shows Order Received despit week 31 being about over.

My order is locked because it has custom paint (lime rock grey) and is showing the Fineline trim that's no longer available. Dealership is saying it's updated internally to the poplar matte so there shouldn't be any delays buuuut it's certainly not moving like a week 31 order should and all the others seem to be. Feels like it's in a black hole where it's not truly updated to the available trim and therefore won't go anywhere. *sigh*

My Fineline trim just got updated to poplar matte since Fineline is no longer available and it bumped my production from week 31 to 42. Ouch!

Yikes! Very sorry to hear that Pal. Crack open a scotch tonight and it's on me! I was getting frustrated with my build stuck in Quality Check for four days. Kinda puts it in perspective for me with my first world problem. Hopefully yours accelerates production.

Funny thing is if the Fineline availability is temporary, it could be available again before week42, defeating the propose of delaying it so long. That said, after reading these forums, I've been sold on poplar being the better trim anyway. But a 2.5 month delay hurts. Could've just waited to buy one off the lot much sooner than that.

I would guess it's the individual paint causing the delay, not the trim change.

Maybe. Stopped by my closest dealer and asked when they would have 22 X5s at the dealership so I could take a look in person, they said late November. Everything is sold out on allocation and they still have people waiting.

The car market is still crazy atm. I'd keep your order.

That would be the more understandable delay but it actually was week 31 for the past two weeks with the individual paint applied.

Yesterday they got 2022 x3 m40i and 30i models in. So I think dealers all along the east coast must be getting them as we speak

Color me skeptical on any website showing any in stock. I bought via an M certified dealer in NJ that is one of BMW's top dealers. They show two, one of which is mine 😂 Dealer told me it's just how their inventory tags things. Mine shows as inbound yet I am picking up PCD on 27th.

Thanks. Production finished the 3rd so it's definitely one of the first 2022 MY to hit the lots. It was on a truck with 2 other X5's an X7 and a 2022 X3
