Thanks! They should rename it "taupe" instead of silver grey.

According to my salesperson when I told him how deceiving it is, he says it's Ash color that's why it looks that way... just shook my head and went on... at least it looked good with black leather, otherwise I would be pissed

I'm now stuck in "Awaiting Carrier Assignment" - have been for almost 3 days, which - like all other steps in the process for my order - has been longer than I had seen previously, watching other orders here go through.

Checked in with the Genius and it looks like my vehicle will be delivered to the dealer this Saturday - it would have to hit the road today to make Sat. Probably too late for delivery this weekend (dealership is closed Sundays).

Dealer has no way of finding out? my dealer is telling me about some recall but its strange based on all the cars that are passing through and only some stay stuck there

I'd have to agree. I've seen some week 48 and 49 builds fly through the process and get delivered already. Some that started production a week+ after I did. It's got to be related to the features or trim selected. Either parts are back ordered or there is a software update of some sort and they are holding vehicles pending the update - or both. Hard to say.

The build process has slowed WAY down compared to pre-Thanksgiving, so something's up. I was a week 48 and finished in week 51.... still waiting for it to get on a truck and even that's been long...

I'd rather wait and have it done right

Nice that is what it should look like from the factory in my book - don't get how they tack on a big hunk of chrome on the front when the trim is blacked out on an msport.

Totally agree, same goes for the chrome exhaust tips in the middle of an island of totally black trim!

Yes especially now that the lower trim is body matched and not grey for all, so super obvious on darker colors.

frustrating here... changed to awaiting carrier assignment on Saturday and was supposed to arrive to nj dealer today but as per genius its still at the vehicle processing center
