Custom Painted Brake Calipers (Gold/Bronze)
Been looking on here but seems as if not too many have painted their brake calipers so decided to share some pictures.
My vehicle (21 X5 M Sport) came with regular calipers. Wanted to spice it up and bring back the original Brembo gold color from back in the days. My car is black w/ black 22” wheels. The job was tideous but overall came out perfect. These are the 5th car I’ve done and they all hold up very well if you take your time and go through all the steps. |

I wouldn’t say they are small. They are relatively larger than most suv/trucks out there. They are only “smaller” when compared to the M Sport ones. Eventually I will upgrade to M Sport but not for awhile. These 4 piston are more than adequate. |

mrkwinning thanks for sharing! I am looking to paint my non M sport calipers as well. I've been looking around for a finish that resembles CCB and this matches up pretty well. Would you mind sharing more about the materials used? Paint brand etc, also sounds like you have some experience doing this if you wouldn't mind sharing more! I refinished a set of larger calipers on my F10 and it went okay, anything to improve my result on my G30 would be great!
