Funny. I had an order for the Evoque. Due to the fact that Land Rover could not deliver the car on time I changed to the 1M. ;-) Lots of delays and issues with the Evoque so I cancelled. Happy I did as I will have so much more fun with the 1M! And as I have an X5 (E70) I do already have a great 4*4. ;-)

Personally not a fan of the Evoque. I think it looks like a Ford Edge with the top chopped off and lowered...

The Evoque shares a lot with the Ford and the Volvo XC60. So you pay a lot of premium for the RR brand. Top Gear is kind of patriotic. Its a very expensive car in the size of the X1 or Q3. Its a good ride (tried it). Looks good. Engine is "ok" but Ford stuff. It do cost more than the 1M! You can actually spec it so it will cost like a fully loaded X5 and that is crazy for an X1 size car! ;-)

We got Hammond's car of the year and SPOILER ALERT Clarksons Powered Up DVD gives it to the 1M at the end.

Not surprised about Clarkson's choice. 1M received amazing ratings on TG!

Seen this in person.

It is REALLY small.

No man should drive the Evoque. Good for the wife or your teenage daughter.

i personally dont know what the hype is about this car... with the price tag this car will have you can easily get a real RR or LR4. im just curious to as what the reliability will be because LR arent known for their reliability... neither are the jags... probably also has that eco boost from ford focus in which they are all tide with.

If I had a wench of my own, she'd drive an Evoque - to the grocery store and back.

As soon as I saw the Evoque, I wanted one. I was looking for something AWD to replace my Jeep and my 335 and this was a perfect blend. Unfortunately, the $45k is a bit too high for me at the moment, so I had to pass. I did go look at them though, the interior is unbelievable, reminded me a lot of an Audi interior. Overall, it was muuuuch smaller than I originally thought. I don't think a set of golf clubs would have fit sideways in the hatch...
