XHP Flashtool - X5M X6M

I noticed XHP has released configuration/TCU tune:
X5M (F95) and X6M (F96) are now supported! 💪🏻 Of course, we do not stand still and continue to work constantly on the expansion of the app and supported models 👨🏻*💻📈 All for the benefit of our community! Here are a few #hardfacts:
- Torque limiter removed
- Max. Brake-Boost RPM increased
- Significantly improved shift times. On par with DCT transmissions
- Revised shift logic and distribution between Drivelogic modes
- Drivelogic 1: Slow to medium-fast, but always smooth shifting
- Drivelogic 2: Medium to medium-fast shifting, depending on the throttle
- Drivelogic 3: Super-fast shifting and maximum power at all times
- Significantly stronger and faster blip downshifts
- More spontaneous reactions to throttle inputs
- Engine Start/Stop deactivated (still active in P)
- Optimized warm-up behavior. (Clutch de-coupling disabled & lower warm-up shifts)
Your neighbors will love it 😏

I copied this text from their Facebook page also I know they are working also in xDelete so soon they will release it too.

They released same for TCU tune for X5/X6 M50i

- Torque Limiters removed
- Gear Display active in all modes
- Heavily improved shift-times
- Max Performance mode. The transmission automatically switches to the most aggressive mode on Kickdown.
- Ignition-Cut shifting enabled (aka "shift-farts")
- Adjusted Shiftmaps in D-Comfort
- Comfort: Medium-speed shifts, but always smooth shifting
- Sport: Medium to medium-fast shifts, depending on throttle
- Sport+: Super-Fast and intense shifting with maximum performance at all-times
- Even sharper shifting in Launch Control mode
- Unlimited amount of Launch Control starts allowed
- Engine Start/Stop disabled (still active in P, may be re-enabled through custom functions)

It seems like X5M have same features of

- Ignition-Cut shifting enabled (aka "shift-farts")
- Unlimited amount of Launch Control starts allowed

I haven't tried this yet because I have still warranty but if someone with DME tune installs it let us for the feedback.

Don’t we already have “shift farts” in sport plus?

I finally pulled the trigger today and flashed my 2022 X5M50i straight to stage 3 xhp transmission flash . As per instructions i have to drive around 100 miles in normal driving conditions before i can test it in sports/sports+ mode.

I didn't pushed it hard, still driving under normal conditions but i can feel very smooth and fast shifts than stock transmission in adaptive mode. I like that Auto start stop is disabled now because after SW update S18A-23-03-565 i cudnt able to disable that through coding.

I was hesitating going straight to stage 3 coz i saw some people were saying its too much for them on YouTube but in regular sports mode i liked it 100% lol. Its not a good video otherwise i cudve posted it here

For new BMW and X5M owners not familiar with this flash tool, what are the implications of using it? I'm curious and not acquainted with this topic.

Its an app to tune the transmission of your car from stock to off the shelf maps and there's custom tune options available too , I tuned to stage 3 in my X5M50i ,you can check the support for your car transmission on there website and the features available for particular model and transmission .

Yeah because its a transmission tune and not an engine tune , My car is 2022 and DME is also locked. Transmission ECU is separate

Please update us...how its going so far is shift change way faster in sport plus than it was stock before also does it react faster to change gears when you press throttle sometimes my X5M is on 5-6th gear and hesitates to down shift just by throttle press so I use shift paddles.

Shifts are noticeably faster even in comfort mode but i never experienced hesitation to downshift in sports mode in my car. I didn't do extensive testing in sports or sports + mode as i got side tracked because of a module installed to get X5M cluster view in my M50i lol but i ordered draggy to test the numbers so i post my findings as soon i do it.

No way I'd be tuning a new vehicle that's still under warranty. I'm sure most know but when you tune an ECU even if you change it back to stock, the dealer can still see that and will void your warrany. I've delt with it and seen many go through it. So if you didn't know this, you do now and not advised if you value your warranty.
