G05 permanently opening exhaust flap?

Hey everyone, I've got a 45e on the way, and I'm already worried about the noise. I like hearing the exhaust, and I wondered if there was a way to keep the exhaust flap open until I can get my valved system made.

I've searched everywhere but found no concrete instructions. Help would be appreciated.

(Before everyone attacks me for buying a hybrid and wanting sound, it makes 389 horsepower, and I've already got a JB4. Bought the hybrid cause the idea of a fast phev sounded cool.)

I believe you need to have the exhaust flaps open and pull the fuse, I remember there was a youtube video for 40i

How is the JB4 tune?

I haven't installed the JB4 yet, might just sell it. My dealer said the car will supposedly report itself to BMW when something changes any of the vehicle's parameters, or if the sensors pick anything up, even though it's piggyback. I don't wanna void my warranty, so I might as well sell it and buy another used one for cheaper later on. Not gonna risk my warranty for .2 seconds faster on the 0-100 km/h. I'll stick to intake and exhaust and leave it at that for now.

Also, if that's the case for the valve, it should be fairly simple. I'll look into it. Much appreciated.

Lots of threads on the flaps.
1. Open then up with carly/bimmercode. Remove fuse in boot.
Or
2. Remove valve clip itself beside the muffler.

Are the fuses labeled? If not, where is the info?

BMW Drivers Guide app, you can download a PDF of the fuse diagram specific to your vehicle

It says that my vehicle does not have the fuse data. Not on Realoem either. If I need it, I will have to login to pay per view one, I guess.

There should be a folded up piece of paper in the power distribution/fuse panel. That has all of the fuse locations, amperage and function.

Did anybody end up trying this by pulling the fuse?

Looks like it should be fuse 203:

Here’s a link. I have done it. Not sure if the “e” X5’s are different than the standard 40i’s
