If you’re comfortable negotiating your own deals and know what you’re doing you should be able to do a little better than what most brokers offer because their deals are pre- negotiated for a large group of people which by default means that you won’t be getting the best possible deal. However, a good broker can save you a lot of time and effort. Especially right now talking to dealers can be very frustrating. Also, be careful with brokers. Don’t just assume that because someone is a broker they will get you a great deal. I have seen several % difference on the same model car in the same area. I have one good contact for east coast people and one in TX. Most CA brokers that I have seen are not great.

Brokers will get you a discount and it’s really up to you if you want to buy. If you want to lease they will help you structure a good lease. Unfortunately if you are in WA you don’t have too many good options.

My dealer wouldn't go below MSRP due them not initially having the allocation, but did seem willing to work a bit with existing inventory that had been sitting a while. There is a loaded green M8 that has been sitting on the floor for serval months now and I'm curious if they be willing to lower the price some...maybe next time I go car shopping. There was one dealer in west STL that was willing to work on the price of new vehicls, but I decided to stay local for shorter travel times during maintenance visits.

You should be targeting 7-10% off msrp pre-incentive for a 40i |

Filled out a contact form for that ClutchAuto.. can't even tell if it sent it or not... hmm
Update: tried it on another browser and worked fine, confirmation page and all. Last edited by AbleDanger; 01-11-2023 at 08:44 PM.. |

Hi, unsure if that’s the thread to ask this question but posting anyway.
So I initially started to look into x5 45e but wasn’t offered any discount. Was told may be some discount can be have on the 40is and M50i due to unsold inventory and some increased interest in the hybrid. Wanted to know if a dealer is interested in moving an X5 M50i what is a good percentage off MSRP which is reasonable to try to negotiate. Looking to finance only. What other BMW incentives one can try for. Thank you |

I was able to get 5% off preincentive on an order in SoCal on a 23 M50i. There are some better deals on in stock units (7-8%) but most dealers are close to MSRP.

I had a MD dealer agree to 7% plus incentive on M50i.

Hi, thank you all for sharing the information.
Texas will be too far, I am based in north east. I guess need to find a dealer in MD. For some reason I am unable to send PMs in the app. |

I see you have a 2022 Cayenne. How do you like it vs BMW X5? I was set on getting an X5 40i but I’m now playing with the idea of getting a 2022 CPO Cayenne platinum edition. One of my concerns is ride comfort on longer trips
