it's been a pleasure to deal with Del & Laura - great service, knowledge, easy to talk to and get advice from, no pushy sales patter, and email support with lots of questions answered patiently ... 10/10 experience.

Del sent me his own pics that he took with his super-duper camera (mine were just iPhone 11 pics!), so will be loading those to his social media soon i imagine.

i'll be seeing Del again hopefully next week as the Akra kit was shipped July 29th ... the final piece in the jigsaw! glad to have Del & his team to support me during this journey towards building my 'ultimate X5MC'
He'll appreciate that He takes a lot of time to deal with enquiries and make sure customers are totally clued up and get all the info. The guy is a workaholic and perfectionist!

When you're back there tell him you ran into Jodie on the X5 forum. He'll find that quite funny.

Your car is looking ridiculously good by the way

If I wasn't away on holiday next week, I would pop over and see it in person. I've never seen an M in the flesh.

thanks, that's a great compliment from a guy with your garage set-up! i'm still after a whole week loving the Brushed Clear colour / finish, so thanks to the forum for the contributions that helped me to decide on the wheels that are right for me

and, of course, why not on that note finish with (yet another?!) pic

I think yes, but need to choose different offsets to avoid rubbing of fenders due to bigger diameter of wheel

Wheel Width

Has anyone run a 22x12 rim on the rear with stock tires? I'm wondering what the stretch would look like

Do you get rubbing with the 23's with stock suspension? I want to do 23's all around with the MSS drop to cut the wheel gap. The 22's all around look pretty good but I think 23 would just add that missing piece but don't want any rubbing. Any suggestions? I need to place my order soon so I can put them on immediately in spring.

https://www.scuderiacarparts.com/blo...gs-hre-wheels/

Thanks to m-prsev for the tips and photos on wheel choice, and to Alan and others for posting up photos and specs of their wheels

to me the Brushed Clear finish looks classy and a nice contrast to the Marina Bay Blue paint, which is very bright (especially when just-washed, and in sunlight), and i fancies a change from black / gloss black / charcoal colour wheels.

the wheels are on order and will be ceramic coated before instal, to cut down on the cleaning as far as possible, although i do feel that i;ve made a rod for my back cleaning-wise!

295/30/22F 10.5
315/30/22R 11.5

new tyres on order too, as the current set have done 8,500 miles, so due a new set soon (assuming 10,000 miles is about right - it probably is given my "spirited driving" since september 2020!!)

the shop are going to send me a render pic of the wheels on my car, so will post these next week ... 6-7 week lead time.

next mods are the install of the Sterckenn front lip:

https://autoid.co/products/sterckenn...w-x5m-2020-f95

exciting times!!

Would 11" wide work on the front? or is there subbing when running 22"

Hope you're sitting down: I was running 25 mm spacers (front & back) with my stock wheels. To accommodate the removal of these spacers, we did ET6 fronts & ET18 rears. Stock front & rear widths by the way.

Hope these were helpful, and let me know if I need to share more information
Wow!! Those offsets are very aggressive. No rubbing at all?

Nice rims.

Did you changed something for the speedometer?

The wheel size 335/25/22 is 2,9% smaller than the stock 315/30/22.

And how is the driving quality?

I run that set up also, drives great and handles the bumps very well.

Drives very well indeed. I have the MSS springs which absolutely help soften the ride. Tried to find a 335/30/22 tire but was unsuccessful, at least for Michelin PS4S. Same goes for the fronts - tried to find a 295/30/22 but no PS4S. Wheels were designed with the actual tire sizes I'm running in mind.

Same question I have. I actually want to do a 23 in the rear and a 22 up front.

Has anyone thought about doing 305/30/22 on all 4 wheels? This is the closest you can get to the fronts OE size, but comes with the cost of downsizing the rear slightly, and a narrower rear tire by .39 inches. But it makes the axles completely even for xdrive. Also, I believe you get a better all around tire in the Michelin PSS.

BC Forged. Stock sizes and offsets. I plan on building a lowering kit for it so I'll play with spacers once I get it where I want it.
I just had these made but they are in transit somewhere. I'll update pics once they are installed.

Wheels look amazing, can I use the same offsets for a regular G05 (50e specifically)?
