Garage List
840d. Better than a series one or a mini, but it is the base model, pretty much none of the tech I have in the X5!

I got an x3 most recently. Pretty base model. Nothing compared to the x5. Gas was free, no need to refill. One time when having my old x5 serviced I was given a 7 series sedan. It was pretty sweet, but still preferred by x5.

Shouldn't they give me an x5-equivalent loaner for the recall?
And I have to pay 20 bucks for the admission fee or whatever fee it is.
In addition, I have to return the car with a full gas tank!

I mean the recall itself already caused my a lot of troubles, and they do not think it is enough.
They gave me a 2019 X5 with 200 miles on it.
Only had it for seven hours.

X3 M40i. It is fun to drive but the X5 40i is a lot smoother. Now I'd like to try that M50i!

You guys are tough. I've had an X1 and X2 loaner and enjoyed trying them even though I would never buy them. A base X3 is a bit of a drag, though, I'll agree. There is just nothing special or inspiring about a base X3!

My dealer usually has X3s or 3-series sedans as the loaner vehicles. They are totally fine by me. I’m not buying the loaner, just driving it for a day or two. Beats walking.

Yea guys my comment about X3 being a joke was about the base models my dealer gives as loaner. Its horrible compared to its competitors :| and coming from G05/X5 to base X3 is a major disappointment while I drive the loaner

This is going to sound rediculous, but when I dropped my new G05 for some warranty service twice this summer (misaligned cameras, software update to .53) they gave me Mini Cooper first time and Toyota Corolla another. Our dealer owns most other brnand dealerships so they are bringing cheapest loaner cars to their BMW service location. I was shocked at the beginning but nothing is surprizing me with BMW anymore, they are very cheap - charge a lot, give a little.

This is the most disgusting dealership I ever heard about. Is it possible to do service at any other dealership?

Next one is 160 miles away and I'm not sure it's going to be much better until you get into more populated areas in Quebec / Ontario. We are too far off the "grid" in Canada
