Easy way to get some healthy sound. It would be nice to have a call button on those flappers like a thru-hull set up on a speed boat. This M50i should really show its teeth under hard acceleration with both flaps wide open and the resonator in the trash. A V8 should sound like it has a pair at full song.

Straight pipes and flaps always open. No drone that I note it in any mode.

The fact that car in CA is not CPO would be a red flag to me. No good reason a BMW dealer wouldn't CPO a 3yr old model with 30k miles unless they can't, or it needs some big $$ repairs. Also agree with prior reply - DHP is nice but let's be honest, how hard are you going to push this car in a corner? I have a 2020 x5 M50 without DHP and a 2020 M550 with DHP. The M550 is fun to throw into a corner at high speed so I'm glad I have DHP. I have no reason to drive a large SUV as aggressively so don't miss it on the X5.

You do not have to push the car in a corner to understand the importance of DHP. Just the active roll stabilization makes this car better than the one without DHP. It makes this huge truck drive like a full size car.
