Fantastic! Thank you.
[Edit] - Reading through these, some good gold nuggets. Shows CD player for glovebox. Confirms 464 watts used for Harman Kardon sound system. 5AR ("Extended Traffic Jam Assistant" the added capability in the Driving Assistance Professional Package) is not listed as hardware... in other words, ZDB and ZDY appear to use the same hardware... Brilliant!!! It's beyond me why they don't make most of this available for buyers. Some of this is incredibly useful and difficult to find out, leading to tons of speculation on boards and conversations with difficult CAs. Thanks so much for posting.

Agreed - I'm reading some of the details on the various suspensions and brakes and may have rethought a few things... Not sure I'd change my order, but I might have thought harder about some other options. In the powertrain and chassis document, the section on brakes makes me wonder what the real difference is between some of the brake configurations... Some brake calipers look like the only difference is blue paint? In that same document, the sections on the off-road and air suspension functions are very detailed and provide a lot of information about the various suspension setups that would have been helpful to know prior to purchasing. BMW's challenge is in communicating the massive amount of technology and capability they pack into these cars. The CA's ability to understand, recall and correctly communicate it... too much gets lost. I'm not knocking the CAs. Take the X5 and then add the entire lineup of BMW's products and the constantly changing nomenclature that refers to the same capability... and then the new technologies... it's just not realistic. |

Edit: The only difference between the DHP and regular M suspension seems to be the anti roll bars (not counting the IAS) which is disappointing. You're basically paying $3600 for IAS + anti roll bars unless I'm missing something.

This suggests there are three different brakes, with 17", 18" and 19" discs. The 19" disc brakes are the blue painted M Sport brakes but I have never seen any option to specify 18" disc brakes from Brembo vs. 17" disc brakes from Continental. Does it have anything to do with wheel size? I have a 40i with M Sport package with 20" wheels, but did not order M Sport brakes. Do I get 17" or 18" discs on my brakes?? Or maybe the 50i gets the intermediate brakes?

Looks like, if you order a setup that comes with the 18" disc brakes - you get the M-Sport calipers... just not painted blue. Not sure that's accurate - but kinda looks that way... no? |

What setup comes with the 18" disc brakes? It's not specified in those terms in the ordering package.

Here's another detail that you cannot find in any sales guide or ordering guide... not sure if it means these absorbers are included with 19 inch rims - or if "from" means 20 inch and above... run flats only... interesting to comb through this stuff.
