Second Row Seats fold up
I was wondering if there was anyway to get the seat portion of the second row to fold up. A little gremlin left a wrapped chocolate in the second row and it fell in the seatbelt cut out. I'm just trying to figure out a way to get the seat to come up before that chocolate becomes a melted mess.

Look for rear seat bottom(?) removal on the TIS website. Click the following link, then type the last 7 digits of your VIN...this will present a search box where you can type in a key word or phrase. Try using ”remove rear seat bottom”: https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/
EDIT: looks like the procedure is similar to just about every BMW rear seat bottom I’ve every owned...just push or pull upward on the front section...then prepare to disconnect any electrical connections (like if you have heated rear seats)...then work the seat up over the seat belt latches. Here’s a direct link using a G05 X5 50i as the search vehicle (I had to guess which model selection since you only have X5 listed): Removal & Installation instructions: https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/g...ity/1VnZ4DZcGK 1. Unclip the seat bench in area (1) in upward direction from the latch mechanisms. 2. Unlock and disconnect the plug connections in area (2). 3. Remove the seat bench and thereby guide out the lower straps (3).

...well, hopefully the info above was helpful...& you were able to recover the chocolate before it melted.
