Not sure if others have called. I will call at 1 month & each month until received. Squeaky wheel gets the grease.

I agree, the funny thing is I received an approval email stating I would get my check in 2 to 4 weeks and it came that same day, 2 weeks total from purchase. I didn’t do anything special, just uploaded the purchase documents requested, and made sure I had green check marks on the 5 submission questions. I Have been a member for 9 years and 1 month before my purchase I renewed for 3 years.

The Federal stimulus direct deposits should start going out later this week- we are looking forward to the $2400 in fun money. No waiting for a check in the mail with this one.

Just emailed BMWCCA. They said checks are taking up to 4 months. They did not respond as to why there is such a variance in timing.

I would think only a minority of X5 owners will fall under the income limits for this.

Early retiree, we fall under the $150K joint limit. No kids to put through college. Happy about it,
get a little of my tax money back along with the BMW rebate to put toward a Trijicon Thermal.

Anyone who applied in the Jan-March timeframe still waiting?

Mine was submitted in late February and it's still stuck at "Approved by CCA" step.

Yes, I'm still waiting. Got the approval email Feb 4. I reached out to BMWCCA and they checked on the status for me. Said it was still being processes.

I too got approved by BMWCCA in January, and they responded 10 days ago and said it is taking about 4 months, which by the way, 4- months is only days away for me.

Yeah mine was accepted by CCA in Mid Feb. I sent them an email Tuesday and I heard back this morning. They said mine is under "manual processing" by BMW and they only perform manual reviews 1x/month at the end of the month - they said mine is in this months queue to review.

Not sure what the manual processing part is about - but they recommend you email them if it's been 3 months.

Unfortunately, it seems like there is a lot of inconsistency with BMWNA. (If you get Roundel magazine from the BMWCCA, there was even a Letter to the Editor in the latest edition. Satch commented that there had been problems, but it was getting better...)

In my case, I guess I was lucky, as it moved very, very fast. Here was my timeline:
- 3/28/20: Signed all of the paperwork for my G06, M50i
- 3/31/20: Completed the form and filed all of the paperwork via BMWCCA website
- 4/1/20: Got an email from BMWCCA that they'd approved my rebated and it had been sent to BMW NA. (BMWCCA told me to expect 3+ months for BMW NA to process.)
- 4/9/20: Received another email from BMWCCA, indicating BMW NA had approved it and I should expect my check in 2-4 weeks
- 4/15/20: I deposited the check from BMW NA. I don't honestly remember what day I received it...bank deposit record says I deposited it on 4/15! (Check was dated 4/9/2020...)

So, form submission to money in the bank was just 2 weeks for me. Maybe I benefited from people sitting around with not a lot to do as we were about 3 weeks into much of the shutdown???

It sounds like they aren't handling these in the order of date received

Who do you email? Just BMW customer support? Or is there a specific group that handles this?

No, the CCA rewards group. I replied to the confirmation email I received in February saying my application was accepted & processed by CCA (rewards@bmwcca.org).

Oh that's interesting, cuz I'd assume CCA can only help you with the ones not approved by CCA, and the step for "Approved by BMW NA" is done by BMW themselves and not CCA.

I'll give it a try if I don't see any update after June 1st.

Yeah, that’s correct in that BMW NA reviews/approves the claim once it gets approved by CCA. But I guess CCA has an ability to look into your claim to give you an update (like telling me its sitting in manual claim review which will be done during this month’s batch).

Mine was approved by CCA on 2/21 and I've yet to receive my check also. I just reached out to the CCA on the status.
