Just installed my rear camera, tricky to get through the rubber grommet for the lower cable s and then out through the double skin. I really needed longer fingers to grab the nylon guide/ cable puller I was using. After that it was easy to feed through the rubber tube to the tailgate. Took a bit longer than the F15! Trim is pretty much the same as F15.
Make sure you get that rubber boot put back correctly. There's a groove in the boot that the metal seats into. It's very hard to push that boot back in and have it seat correctly. If it's not seated correctly you'll have a wet cargo area.

Best way to find the correct wires is to use a low voltage test light and test the fuses for switched and constant. Fuse powering varies from vehicle to vehicle. Posting a picture of the fuse box and fuse numbers still may not give you the correct fuses for your X5.
I did use fuse test light.

Indeed much harder than the F15 boot which just snapped back in but it is seated correctly

How do you connect to f27 or F76 is they both +, how do you connect -?

I was wondering how do you connect two wires to fuses. One should be negative and positive. How do you connect it to camera since it is always on.

I have a BM mount for my V1, but would there be enough room to use another BM mount for the BV 900S-2C?

My installer says the BV comes with an adhesive for the windshield which reduces glare so does that look okay in a G05?

(Apologies for cross post, but no one is using the subforums.)

I used blendmount BBv-2030 for dashcam. The way I use dashcam Mount is not correctly installed cause I want dashcam closer to windshield and I plan to add escort radar mount to bbv-2030. As you can see there are 2 empty screw slot to mount radar to. I'm just waiting to get cheap escort radar mount on eBay. I want to use this spare part radar clip part number BBE-UC4

Thank you. Looking at the BM web, I could not tell if 2030 or 3032 was the best for us.

I do not see a way for two separate BM mounts to fit that tight space and a BM dealer confirmed this as well.

In the meantime, the dealer electronics tech claims that using the BV windshield adhesive places it in a good position to reduce glare. I will start with that install and see if I need to work toward another solution.

BTW, if you have not already purchased your Escort you might want to look at the lively discussion on RDF about the new Uniden R7 which has the longest range (WS detector) with arrows. However, if BWM is a priority due to a congested daily commute then Escort has made some progress has seen in the new EL app.

I almost bought the r3 last for $288 but have I had 2 9500 and max 360. I want to stay within escort mount. The only different between 2032 and 2030 is body link part number bm-sp-0001

Where did you order your BM? How long did it take for delivery?

Much appreciated! Thank you.

Unfortunately, I need the BM for my 1 pm install in Monday which means pay $100 for early overnight delivery. If I put up that kind of money, I want to make certain that my BM clip for my V1 will attached to the BBV 2030.

Have you encountered problems like the BM moving too much because you needed to tighten some of the screws?

I just heard from BM moments ago and they said based on your photo, that I should use BBV-2018. They do not official support the notion of added a RD clip to this but are aware 'it has been done'.

When you finish, please post a photo of your work.

I have been searching for a photo of adding a RD clip to the BV version of the BM but have not located such at this point.
I try 3 different model.

I finished my blendmount dash installed before February 05 and took about over 10 days to get blendmount to ship me the right mount I want.

You can add this for your blackvue BBV-UP2 and BM-SP-0001
to mount your radar in the enphold in the middle of this part number.

So you paid $230 for BM parts? 140 + 70 + 20?
