I did a pretty good rattle can project on a S4 euro filler plate a long time ago. 2 coats of primer, 3 coats of color and 4 coats of gloss. Then I polished the final coat with paint polishing gloss. It held up very well for sitting in the front of the car like your grill. You can do a great paint job if you put enough time and coats on it.

I ordered one of these grills too. After I ordered I remembered that the seller does not seem to ask whether or not I have night vision (I don't). As I recall other sellers (IND for example) differentiate the product based on whether you have night vision. Does anyone know if this product is compatible for a car without night vision? Honestly, I don't know what the difference is but I guess there's another sensor in the grill.

I've haven't done it. The company that did mine took about 3 hours to wrap the entire thing. He explained that everything is tucked underneath nicely except the slats.

The eBay listing implies that the grill is not compatible with night vision. (It says for BMW X Series, G05 X5 2019+ (without night vision))

After I ordered, the seller asked me to verify which car I have. I didn't mention that I don't have night vision and he didn't ask.

I also ordered this eBay grille. The order was placed shortly after 12 a.m. PST. The order was then shipped via UPS at around 8 a.m. that same day. I then received the package the next day at 3 p.m.. Not bad considering that it was shipped from Taipei, Taiwan.

Fit and finish is excellent. I had no issues installing it; the dimensions were perfect. It appears to be injection molded black plastic with some kind of protective coating sprayed on the front to give it a finished look.

5 minutes, maybe. It took longer to open the packaging than it did to remove and replace the stock grille.

Couldn't be happier with mine. Same place others bought it. My wife took it out and installed it in a few minutes. Highly recommended, really well done.

Here's mine. Similar story as LXXVI. Ordered just after midnight on Friday, 5/10; received a shipping notification a few hours later, arrived here yesterday, 5/13. How do they do that?!? I send a birthday card to my grandson from CT to Iowa, and it takes 3-4 days to get there...

Very well packed, and looks great. I wasn't going to pay $500+ for a black grill, but $225 including shipping is a no brainer. Took 5 minutes to install, and that's only because the clips holding the front camera was a tight fit. The grill itself is a perfect fit. I did notice that the black grill is a bit lighter than the OEM grill.
