How do you know there will be 07/2019.XX?
There are three major software cycles each year - March, July and November - as per BMW practice. G05 started with 11/2018.XX as it's a new model.
Oh, ok. Didn't know. Thanks.

I found the reference you identified but for me the other photos I posted still suggest there is a problem. Does anyone else show what I posted up thread about needing to purchase OTA updates?

In the thread below, I have reported not getting remote services to work since they replaced a telematics unit so that is part of the reason AI find the double references in tension of interest.

Somewhere, I read what TurtleBoy reiterated but now cannot find it. I did find this though.. ..

OTA updates are "included" four times/year for maps. You can read it here under Instruments and Controls.. .

Today I almost collided with my shelving in the garage waiting for the parking sensors to kick in. Had to park “blind” because the sensors and alarm never kicked in. That’s a first but definitely disconcerting that it malfunctioned.

Looks like the lane departure was fixed. Has anyone confirmed it does not jerk the wheel anymore?

That was one f the items in the update - some sort of improvement to that feature. I don’t have the new iDrive version yet, but mine isn’t bad. My version is .44

The faster you are going, the stronger the jerk. I have mine set to medium. Very mild action while driving ahead, but I’ve had some strong jerks when going fast into a Y type turn. Just gotta remember to use blinker.

What is considered the update? I’m on 3/2019.44 where it’s been since picked up at the end of May and have had the hey BMW thing since I got it, so I guess I already have the rest of these enhancements as well?

Hey BMW has been available since introduction. It is a fluff enhancement to it that was made available in the March update. Appears to be mainly dealing with integrating with other smart devices/services.

It is much smoother since the update to .48. I do not notice it pulling so abruptly anymore.

Great thanks. I will try to put steering intervention back on under lane departure.

I do too. I thought when I posted that everybody with an early build here was going to say "yeah, I got it too"

I didn't check in my car for an upgrade.

The upgrade was downloaded to the app on my phone and then to my car from the app. While it was going on, the app showed the status of it sending to the car.

I still don't have caring car or any new apps though.

The fact the advertised 'remote software update' doesn't work is total BS from bmw. I've had this expensive joke of a car in my garage for over six months and the software still sucks, never updated. Just one more reason after owning over ten of them this is my last bmw.

I check in on the forum every month or so and all the problems are still going on.

BMW should extend Subscription for Apple Car Play Compatibility

How do we go about requesting from BMW that the lack of remote software updates and issues with Apple Car Play compatibility that they should extend our subscription for Apple Car Play compatibility free of charge? Currently the subscription expires 1 year from purchase.

I got the software upgraded to .60 at dealership that caused the headunit to crash while they were doing it. Remote reprogramming by bmw na revived my car. I would honestly avoid doing software upgrade coz may be this software has issues. May be that's the reason why bmw has not released for remote update. Moreover, the only two things I can tell are new: apple carplay working flawlessly (previously it used to get disconnected frequently) and cornering lights have started working.
