12V Socket When Car Is Turned Off

Does the 12V socket (the cigarette lighter) in the center console remain on after you shut off your car? For those who have a dash cam (non-hard wire), do you leave the cam connected to the 12V socket? I have seen some vehicles of various brands will eventually run out of battery because of this, even the car is fully shut off.

Does the trunk have a 12V socket as well?

My car is still in production, so I can't test it myself yet.

Not sure about the socket in the cargo area as I haven't tested it, but I have tested both the sockets in the center console (one in front at cupholders and one in rear under vents) and both turn off after 10 minutes. I keep my dash/rear cams plugged into the rear socket in the center console and have had no issues.
