Exclamation Connectdrive keeps requesting Security Code!

I own from new (Oct 2019) X5. Since the car was inspected by dealership (trapped condensation) - every time I start my car, I have to input the security code to Connectdrive - as this message of 'enter security code; appears on the Information Screen based on the central dashboard. Is this a known fault or is there a quick fix, as all dealerships are closed to general public due to this stayhome virus? Many thanks in advance for anyone that can help me.

Maybe reboot iDrive? Depress the volume knob for 30 seconds. I think thats what I read.

I have just tried your advice. I will see if it continues to work.

Below is the message I normally get when I start my car for your reference.

Thank you for your advice and support.

I believe in profiles should be a option for that, I believe it's asking for your conected drive user pref to be authorized. If this is it, then in profiles you can set your remote fab to do it automatically.

In case you didn't get it fixed yet, it appears to be a problem a number of us had in that an incorrect password was saved in the profile. The steps that I used to fix that was to log into the guest profile and then back into mine and clear/delete any existing log in credentials and enter your username and password. After doing that I didn't have any more problems.

The message has stopped, since the reset with volume switch depressed. But will definitely try this if it returns. I have noticed that my car no more notifies me as soon as I sit in it, where it predicts I will be travelling, e.g work, home, shopping, cinema or children's school. I will give it a week and then will try all suggestions. Currently not travelling out because of the stay home virus other than a rare food shop. Thank you for everyone's support and guidance!

Connectdrive keeps requesting Security Code!

Some times it help if you delete your profile on the vehicle. allow to go to sleep for and hr. the when you return , you will be recognized as a guest. then create a new profile by logging back into the vehicle though the vehicle with you connected drive username/password. It will the down load you profile stored from the cloud back to the vehicle.
