You don't even make sense and are inconsistent. You mention blacks not standing for the national anthem because of hundreds of years of racism. I post a picture of Martin Luther King, Jr. and you respond with a flippant remark about a dead man.

"Martin Luther King Jr is 50 years dead. But his vision lives on and will remain a potent inspiration for global social activism for decades to come."

NFL policy is actually less strict than NBA National Anthem policy.

"Players, coaches, and trainers are to stand and line up in a dignified posture along the sidelines or on the foul line during the playing of the National Anthem."

NFL gives their players the option to remain in the locker room. If you do that in the NBA, you will get fined. How quickly everyone forgets the NBA suspending Abdul Rauf and fining him $31k per game if he continued to refuse to stand for National Anthem. NBA policy dates back to 1996.

The NBA allowed the "I Can't Breathe" protest t-shirts.

And...

NFL allowed their players to wear those shirts as well during pre game warmups.

Doesn’t change the fact the NBA Anthem policy is more strict.

I didn't say it did just painting the full picture. There's more than one way to protest.

Lol eagles never kneeled for the anthem last year. Just most of the players didn't want to show, so the white house canceled it.
Another misinfo campaign from the orange orangutan

Where is the outrage for trump not standing during the national anthem? Or his blatant disrespect of waving his arms and acting like a 3 year old.

I apologize if this was already covered but why do we even play the national anthem at sporting events? It seems very out of place.

Largely the same reason we put "In God We Trust" on our money and inserted "Under God" into the Pledge of Allegiance - Commies were/are scary.

...by the end of World War II, NFL Commissioner Elmer Layden ordered that it be played at every football game. The tradition quickly spread to other sports, aided by the introduction of large sound systems and post-war patriotism...

I don't think we could have founded a new country in 1776 based on our current moral compass. It would be a weird place to live.

Why not? The founders stood up to the British as they were being oppressed. They took a stand for what they believed in. I don't know when that suddenly became an unAmerican attribute.

who would fight for it? between safe rooms, allergies on top of anxieties, feelings as weak as peanut brittle and being more concerned with changing genders than the world the other team would have crushed us unless the war would be decided on which side received the most likes or retweets.
